Yesterday’s diesels had trouble starting in the cold. But Volkswagen TDI Clean Diesels are different. With advanced direct-injection technology, they’re designed to start reliably when the thermometer drops. To prove it, we’re putting a 2010 Golf TDI into a giant freezer to simulate the temperatures you’d find in the world’s coldest city, Yakutsk, Siberia.

A coffee filter shows how clean Clean Diesel is.
Diesels have a reputation for being dirty. But the advanced technology in Volkswagen TDI clean diesels makes that a thing of the past. To demonstrate just how clean clean diesel really is, we test the new Volkswagen Touareg TDI against a traditional diesel. Can TDI clean diesel technology really reduce sooty emissions by 95%? The proof is in the coffee filters.

Audi RS5: Revealed
We can't get enough of the new Audi RS5 , so here are more live impressions from the Geneva Motor Show. A must see!
Audi has listed the base price of the car only in Euros (77,000), but we'll hold on to hope until Audi officially states the car won't be sold across the pond.
Why do we want the RS5 in the U.S. so bad? For starters, it's got a 450 horsepower version of Audi's tried and true 4.2-liter V8 paired to the legendary Quattro AWD. Combine that with perhaps the best looking coupe designs on the market today and you've got one heck of an appealing Sportcar.
